I love this buffet. But their delivery is ALWAYS guarenteed to be hot, fresh and more food than one person can eat! The owners are so nice and remember who you are and are always happy to accommodate special orders or requests. Highly recommend this joint for the prices and low sodium factor and deliciousness to anyone in the medical center area.

Taste of China Buffet...Shitay Buffet..My husband and I got there maybe an hour after the place opened. So it was about 5pm on a Saturday. Place wasn't busy at all. The selection of food was horrible and the food was cold. I will say that the Egg Drop Soup was the highlight of my meal..They have a huge neon sign that says GOURMET FOOD.. Gourmet... I don't think so... I wouldn't serve this food to my dog. The price was cheaper then most of the other Chinese buffets by a few dollars...Trust me spend the few dollars more and go to East Buffet on Bandera Rd. Even if you gave me coupons for free meals I wouldn't go back to this place.

I went here with family for the first time about 2 hours before closing. Besides the floor not being cleaned when it was clearly not busy was not a good sign and I should've left but new to the area and hungry we stayed. The food in the buffet was very fairly empty and not replenished. Most tasted old as if it's been sitting there for a while. The Wonton Soup had one wonton left. The muscles had 2 muscles. For the price it cost was ridiculous. I would not visit again. Maybe it's better when it's at the prime during the day but 2 hours to closing they should still fill up to some extent fresher food instead of virtually empty.

Very friendly staff, good price, and good food. The inside could use a few touches here and there, but the place is consistent....oh and don't miss the soup.

The prices at Taste of China are very reasonable, and the buffet tables are kept spotlessly clean. The offerings from the buffet tables for Chinese fare, the sushi, and desserts are fairly typical. Food quality is good, and servers are never far away when you need them. I must recommend this restaurant for a good meal at a reasonable price, and please do leave a couple of dollars on the table for the waitress who cleans up after you. They deserve a tip.

This is perhaps the decentest or good buffet. They have a good variety from Chinese, sushi, to steaks. I like the jalepeno shrimp, green beens, and their crab Rangoon. They have a large salad bar, but I'm all about getting straight to the main course. The have a good dessert selection and offer delicious ice cream. The place is clean and reasonable. I have been to a few Chinese buffets and this better compared to others. It's a great place to take your family and don't forget to ask for chopsticks. If you know of a better buffet than this one, I would like to know. This is the best one I have been to in San Antonio.

I came to this "buffet" Saturday evening after a long day at Six Flags. My family and I were so tired....pretty much we didn't give much thought and went in. The food looked like its been sitting there forever and it was cold. Nothing tasted right! Yuck! Never again will we go here!

I've discovered this place a year ago and since then have been a regular. The prices are very reasonable and the food is fresh and delicious. The staff is also very friendly. Overall a great dining experience.

they had a pretty big selection. the owner or something was walking around to tables doing card tricks to entertain. i almost died laughing. that was so awesome. i liked the food. good price. good service. check 'em out! ...?

We enjoy this very reasonably priced buffet. Go every week on average. Food quality is above average,IMHO. It is a buffet, so my expectations would be as per a buffet, not as high as a cook to order restaurant. ...?

Bad food is a typical result of any buffet. For the most part this buffet has one of the largest selection of "gourmet food"allowing me to not have to eat the iffy food. Excellent salad and dessert bar. ...?
